Sant Antoni is a traditional celebration in a lot of towns in Majorca.
There is no age to celebrate it , as young and old people enjoy of this event.One of the most inportant things of this celebration is the bornfire contest.The participants make cardboard imatges of Sant Antoni ,the devils and other characters. There are different prices and the best one gets an important quantity of money.

On Saturday, at 2:30 the demons are at " Ca's Bassiner" where they dance . Then they got to the town hall where a lot of people are waiting for them .Then they go to the old people's home and to the " completes ".Then they go to the rectory and there they light the first bonfire.
After that , the demons go all around Manacor singing and dancing at the bonfires. Everibody grills meat and " llangonissa"and they have a lot of fun in this great celebration!

If you are a fan of Sant Antoni, come to Manacor to enjoy our bonfires and our "llangonissa"... You can wach the dance of our demons and to dance and sing the traditional Sant Antoni music.
Then you can have a good time with your friends and your family.
